A comprehensive study of the Old Testament from Genesis through Malachi. Students will explore the historical narrative, major themes, key figures, and prophetic writings. Emphasis on understanding God's covenant relationship with His people and its relevance to the Christian life today.
An in-depth study of the New Testament from the Gospels through Revelation. Students examine the life and ministry of Jesus, the early church, Paul's letters, and the book of Revelation. Focus on applying New Testament principles to daily living.
How does a biblical worldview shape the way we understand culture, science, ethics, and politics? This course equips students to think critically about the world around them through the lens of Scripture and to articulate what they believe and why.
A study of the intellectual defense of the Christian faith. Students learn to respond thoughtfully to common objections, examine the evidence for Christianity, and develop the ability to share their faith with confidence and grace.
Foundational English course covering grammar, composition, vocabulary, and literature. Students write essays, short papers, and creative pieces while reading a variety of fiction and nonfiction texts.
Continuation of English skills with deeper focus on analytical writing, research methods, and literary analysis. Students engage with novels, poetry, drama, and informational texts.
A survey of American literature from the colonial period through the modern era. Students read works by authors such as Hawthorne, Twain, Fitzgerald, and others while examining how American identity and values have been expressed through literature.
A survey of British literature from Beowulf through the twentieth century. Students explore major literary movements and analyze works by Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens, Lewis, and others.
Students explore multiple genres of creative writing including fiction, poetry, personal narrative, and scriptwriting. Focus on developing voice, style, and the discipline of revision.
Practical course in public speaking, presentation skills, debate fundamentals, and interpersonal communication. Students deliver speeches, participate in discussions, and develop confidence in expressing their ideas.
Introduction to algebraic concepts including variables, equations, inequalities, functions, and graphing. Builds the mathematical foundation required for all higher-level math courses.
Study of geometric figures, proofs, area, volume, coordinate geometry, and trigonometric ratios. Develops logical reasoning and spatial thinking skills.
